I've got a new home!

My name is Flash and I have a new family who love me.

From the previous chapter of my story...

Hello everyone - my name is Flash and I’m a gorgeous, friendly 2 year-old member of the Orange Thundercats.

Up until very recently I was living my best life with a family who I thought loved me. But then one day I found I couldn’t get back into the house because my cat flap was blocked. Oh, Ok I thought – must be something sticking it – I’ll try again later. So…I did. Again, again, and again. But no matter what I did, I just couldn’t get back inside. I cried for my family to let me in but nobody answered me. I did my best to survive on my own, but it’s a struggle when you’ve always known a home. Crying yourself to sleep in a cold garden, rather than cuddling up in a warm bed is not fun for a kitty.

Eventually I got picked up by a kind person and I got taken to Friends of Felines. They scanned me for a chip and when they contacted my family they said they’d moved away and blocked up my cat flap to keep me outside in the hope that I would find a new home!

Why didn’t they just try to find me a new home themselves rather than abandoning me? I don’t know what I’ve done to deserve this, as I’m a happy little fella who just loves being around people.

Right then – time to move on and try to find a date.

I’m already neutered, obviously I’m chipped and I will soon get my first vaccination. I’m great around people of any size, and I reckon I could handle other cats or a dog as long as they are well-spoken and not shouty.

If you are looking for super friendly boy, who just wants to give you all the love in the world, please could you consider me? I’m desperate to be part of a family again, even if it’s a foster home in the short term.

I got another chance!

Not every cat is so lucky.

Could you be another cat's forever human?

If you think you might be able to offer a cat a forever home, please fill out the adoption form and one of the Friends of Felines team will get back to you as soon as possible.

Thank you so much,

Lots of love and nose boops,

Flash
