Billy

My adoption journey...

Adopted: Mid 2022

Hello, my name is Billy and I am an Arabian Mau. My Mum thinks Billy is a silly name for an Aristocat! She thinks it should be Ptolemy or Pharaoh or something more regal! I have been in my forever home for nearly a year now and I am very happy here. Apparently, I was originally found wandering the streets in Colchester and was taken to a police station. Thankfully they contacted Friends of Felines who rescue and rehome lots of cats like me.

I spent some time with Penny and then I was fostered by two Italian gentlemen in London. They went back to Italy so I was in need of a home again. My new Mum contacted Friends of Felines after her 18 years old ginger & white boy went over the bridge to join his much-missed friend.

When Penny brought me to my home, I was a bit worried at first and I hid under the furniture & I’m afraid I bit a few fingers. I was frightened you see, because it was all so new and  to me and I could have been taken anywhere. I soon got to know my new Mum & Dad and even their family and they all helped me settle in. I get regular meals, good they are, and I have a large garden to play in or lie in the shade. I don’t go out much in the winter as apparently I am about 11, so I stay all snug indoors, and I am even allowed on the beds.

Not saying anything, but I think that in this photo, taken the day I arrived, I actually look quite magnificent!
