Mildred
I've got a new home!
My name is Mildred and I have a new family who love me.
From the previous chapter of my story...
Can anyone give little Mildred a forever home?
Mildred and her kittens were rescued from an awful hoarder situation. In addition to having to endure giving birth to kittens in a shed at the tender age of 7 months old, she came to us a bag of bones as has rarely been fed and very clearly been abused.
Mildred is a dinky little lady, but has suffered a great deal of abuse and is completely traumatised. Whilst people were feeding her, she hasn’t had any further interaction for humans and hasn’t been handled. She’s not feral but has been made to live in a heartbreaking situation we’re at only 7 months old was left to survive by her current owners.
For want of a better word Mildred through no fault of her own is broken. She doesn’t know it’s ok to be loved. She doesn’t know it’s ok to trust. She doesn’t know it’s ok to live a wonderful life where all these things exist. How could anyone do this!
Her kittens have flown the nest and we would really like Mildred to have her chance. She is making slow progress in foster but needs time
.
Mildred is safe in foster but it’s really slow progress. She’s absolutely making very small steps every day and after everything she’s been through she’s being a very brave girl.
We know this is a big ask but is there a forever home out there for Mildred? Just one very kind human who could give Mildred the time, patience and love to show her that it’s ok to love and trust again.
Could you be Mildred’s lifeline? It is worth noting that Mildred is likely to be a very slow starter and through this process could eventually, in the right home change her life forever! Adult only home please, yes to other cats but a no to doggies.
We know this is a very big ask, but it’s definitely worth us asking.
Please fill out an application form and we will be in touch.

We’re desperately hoping their is one beautiful soul that could give this gorgeous little lady a second chance at living x

I got another chance!
Not every cat is so lucky.
Could you be another cat's forever human?
If you think you might be able to offer a cat a forever home, please fill out the adoption form and one of the Friends of Felines team will get back to you as soon as possible.
Thank you so much,
Lots of love and nose boops,
Mildred
